Northfield is fortunate to be hosting the Youth Work Institute’s Regional Forum on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. The conference will be held from 8:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Northfield Community Resource Center.
The conference will feature a keynote from Dale Blyth (Director of the Center for Youth Development at the University of Minnesota Extension). His talk is titled, “The Future of Youth Development: Trends and Implications.”
In addition, participants will be able to pick two of the following three workshops to attend:
- Tapping the Potential: Youth Engagement Programs & Strategies
- Culturally Responsive Youth Work Matters
- Quality Matters: The Toolkit Session
Advanced registration is required. The cost is $30 and includes lunch.
