In spring 2010, the Mayor’s Task Force on Youth Alcohol & Drug Use launched a parent education and support campaign. Called “Talk. Listen. Connect. (TLC),” it encourages parents to engage in conversations with their teens about important topics and to actively seek out and connect with the parents of their child’s friends.
The TLC campaign will include a series of postcards on parenting topics, as well as information distributed through a variety of other channels (school and community events, student telephone directories, etc.).
