Below is information on a very important new group being organized by local community members.
FROGS: A support group for Friends and Family to deal Respectfully with the Reality of Opiate use and Overdose, to Gather and Grieve and give Support and Sympathy. FROGS will be meeting on Mondays at the Main Street Moravian Church (713 Division St. in Northfield) from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, starting Monday, November 24 and running through Monday, December 29. It is a start-up group for all those who are affected by a loved one’s use and abuse of Opiates and Heroin.
This group is for those who have lost a loved one or who have a loved one who has been incarcerated. It is also for those who are struggling with keeping a loved one alive and out of trouble. This group is for friends or family members (immediate family or extended family).
All are welcome to this evening of grief, gathering, support and sympathy. The evening will begin with a speaker and then have a time of open sharing and offering of support. For more information call 645-7566.
