Tobacco use prevention activities, primarily for youth, pregnant women, and parents; information and referral services.  Work with WIC participants to promote tobacco free home environments for children; provide education, information, and referral to the public.

Communities Served:  All Rice County

Age Range of Clients Served:  All ages, but primarily youth and parents

Hours:  8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday;  programs may be offered at other times, if pre-arranged

Fees:  None for health promotion services

Insurance:  Not applicable for health promotion services

Eligibility Information:  Rice County resident

Capacity to Accommodate Clients with Limited Financial Resources:  No one is denied services because of inability to pay; no fees for health promotion services

Capacity to Accommodate Clients who Speak Languages other than English:  Spanish, Somali, Nuer, Russian and Ukranian language interpreters available by arrangement; language line available; many health promotion materials in both Spanish and English and some in Somali.
