Association philosophy of “freedom of choice based on knowledge of alternatives” in childbirth. Education and preparation for childbearing, and breastfeeding. Through increased awareness of current information relating to the birth experience, the pregnant woman and her partner are empowered to make informed decisions regarding the events of the childbearing year.
Northfield Hospital offers six four-week sessions for expectant parents. In addition there are condensed weekend classes, refresher courses, classes for breastfeeding, teens, Spanish-speakers.

Capacity to Accommodate Clients with Limited Financial Resources: Financial assistance available to those who qualify. For more information, contact 507-646-1074.
Capacity to Accommodate Clients who Speak Languages other than English: Provide Spanish language interpreter during business hours and other language interpreters as needed. We do offer classes for Spanish-speakers.
