We provide direct one-to-one service including Safety Planning and an Individual Child Resiliency Plan to identify the child/youth’s strengths and vulnerabilities. We also have a lending library with books, videos, and other resources.
* Individual Child Resiliency Plan: – Identify child/youth’s strengths and vulnerabilities – Direct one to one service – Work with area schools and community programs to determine what steps we can take as a group to make children and youth more resilient to the effects of violence. * Youth presentations on family violence, healthy relationships, safety planning, power and control, personal body issues, and building resiliency. * Organize and facilitate training workshops for professionals so that they can offer safety planning and other support to children and youth. * Videos and other resources. ”Choose Respect – Give. Get it.” Campaign – Awareness and educational campaign geared toward local youth in an effort to help adolescents form healthy relationships to prevent dating violence before it starts.

Eligibility Information: Children and youth ages 0-17 who have witnessed or experienced violence.

Capacity to Accommodate Clients who Speak Languages other than English: Interpreters are available in Spanish.
