American Red Cross Babysitting training classes are offered regularly to youth 11-14 years old. This course offers information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of their parents/guardian. Participants will develop skills in leadership, safety and safe play, basic care and professionalism. Includes Babysitter’s Handbook, handouts and certification card.
Communities Served: No geographic limitation
Age Range of Clients Served: Middle School
Hours: 9 am – 3:30 pm, dates announced when classes are scheduled
Fees: $45
Eligibility Information: Ages 11-14
Capacity to Accommodate Clients with Limited Financial Resources: Financial assistance is available to those who meet certain qualifications. Call for more information.
Capacity to Accommodate Clients who Speak Languages other than English: Provide Spanish language interpreter during business hours and other language interpreters as needed.
