In recognition and celebration of community members who positively influence the lives of Northfield youth, the Northfield Healthy Community Initiative (HCI), in conjunction with the Northfield News, presents the Making a Difference recognition. Making a Difference is a way to celebrate and recognize the people and groups who invest in Northfield youth through:
- Leadership
- Engagement and service
- Valuing youth
Making a Difference recipients will be featured every other month in the Northfield News and here on our site.
Who should you nominate?
Anyone! Nominate groups and individuals of all ages who value youth. Their actions can be large or small as long as they have a positive impact on youth!
How do you nominate?
Complete the application and submit it electronically to info@northfieldhci.org. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and recipients will be selected every other month.
How will selections be made?
A selection committee of HCI board members and local youth will evaluate applications and select the recipient(s).
What will the recipients receive?
Selected recipients will appear in the Northfield News and receive a certificate of congratulations.
