Al-Anon  meetings are for Al-Anon members and prospective members,  where they may  freely share and listen to the experience, strength, and hope of other members with assured confidentiality and anonymity.  Closed meetings often include personal experiences not intended for public sharing.  Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics.
